Password Problem?????

Thursday, March 26, 2009

David calls the Help Desk to complain that there's something wrong with his password.
No, it's not the usual caps-lock problem.

"The problem is that whenever I type the password, it just shows stars," he says.

"Those asterisks are to protect you," the Help Desk technician explains,

"so if someone were standing behind you, they wouldn't be able to read your password."

"Yeah," he says,

"but they show up even when there is no one standing behind me."

Winter In Massachusetts

Tuesday, March 24, 2009

DEAR DIARY:

AUG. 1 Moved to our new home in Massachusetts. It is so beautiful here. The city is so picturesque. Can hardly wait to see it covered with snow. I LOVE IT HERE

OCT. 14 New England is the most beautiful place on earth. The leaves are turning all different colors. I love the shades of red and orange. Went for a ride through the hills and saw some deer. They are so graceful. Certainly they are the most peaceful animals on earth. This must be paradise. I LOVE IT HERE.

NOV. 11 Deer season will open soon. I can’t imagine anyone wanting to kill such an elegant creature. The very symbol of peace and tranquillity. Hope it will snow soon. I LOVE IT HERE.

DEC. 2 It snowed last night. Woke up to find everything blanketed in white. It looked like a postcard. Went outside and cleaned snow off the steps and shoveled the driveway. We had a snowball fight today (I won). When the snowplow came by we had to shovel the driveway again. What a beautiful place. Mother Nature in perfect harmony. I LOVE IT HERE.

DEC. 12 More snow last night. I love it. The snowplow did his trick again that rascal). A winter wonderland. I LOVE IT HERE.

DEC.. 19 Snowed again last night. Couldn’t get out of the driveway to get to work this time. I'm exhausted from shoveling. Damn Snowplow!

DEC. 22 More of that white sh*t fell last night. I've got blisters on my hands from shoveling. I think the snowplow hides around the corner and waits until I'm done shoveling. That *!&%!!!

DEC. 25 "White Christmas" my busted *ss. More snow. If I ever get my hands on that son-of-a-(*%)! who drives that snowplow, I swear I will c*str*te the dumb bastard. Don't know why they don't use more salt on this freaking ice.

DEC. 28 More of the same sh*t last night. Been inside since Christmas day except for when "Snowplow Harry" comes by. Can't go anywhere. The car is buried in a mountain of white sh*t.. The weatherman says expect another 10 inches of this sh*t tonight. Do you know how many shovels full of snow 10 inches is?

JAN. 1 Happy freaking New Year!. The weatherman was wrong (AGAIN). We got 34 inches of snow this time. At this rate it won’t melt until the 4th of July. The snowplow got stuck down the road and sh*t for brains had the balls to come to the door and ask to borrow my shovel. I told him I broke 6 shovels already, shoveling out the sh*t he plowed into my driveway. I broke the 7th shovel over his head.

JAN. 4 Finally got out of the house today. Went to the store to get food and on the way back a deer ran out in front of the car and I hit the damn *#! deer. Did about $3,000.00 damage to the car. Wish the hunters would have killed them all last November.

MAY 3 Took the car to the garage in town today. Would you believe the body is rotting away from all the salt they keep dumping all over the roads. It really looks like a piece of sh*t.

MAY 10 Moved to Florida today. I can’t imagine why anyone in their right mind would want to live in the God forsaken State of Massachusetts.

Why Deependra can not be killer?

Monday, March 23, 2009

(Collected from Past Papers and nepalisociety.com)
The present belief of the public to support this argument is as follows; however, no any international news is covering this version of public thinking.

1. On Friday he was at fresh and exciting mood while he visited the sports complex at Satdobato till 5:00 PM. He has encouraged the officials for the good work, and promised to come the next day 2 hour before the official time. No body has felt any kind of stress and abnormality at that evening with Deependra.

2. The firing is done so severely that, the body of queen is divided to 2 piece. Her face and head was completely damaged. So there was mask instead of her face and head. Nirajan is believed to have 30 to 40 bullets while trying to save his father king birendra. The bullet is shot at central front pallet (nidhar ko tika lagaune thau najikai) to king Birendra, and almost other member's head.
This indicate the shooter is professional sharp shooter.

3. The number of bullet fired is in such a huge quantity, that a single person can not solely fire so many bullet in such a short period where no other guards could protect that incident.

4. Deependra has several bullets (around 30) on his backside, some penetrating his liver and lung, rather than his head (where suisider is believed to shot self). People think, Deependra tried to escape from the incident but finally attacked to sever injury.

5. The body of Shanti Singh was found on garden rather than the dinner room, so there may be chances of killing running after them who tried to escape.

6. Deependra has left the dinner room around 7:30, when he came back around 9:30, all other were killed already, he tried to escape, but he was shot dead. That is why he has many bullets on his back.

7. Dhirendra is not holding the royal post. In that evening, even Dhirendra was attending the dinner, why Gyanendra was absent?

8. The first person to come out from the palace after the incident was Paras, who also attended the dinner, but has no single hurt, how that happened?

9. In the beginning, Paras was said staying out of country, but later, not attending the dinner but in Soaltee Casino, some said not in Soaltee, but in Babylone Discotheque, later confirmed to be present
in the dinner. Why so many different information circulated?

10. In that evening, 10 cooks and several other Royal worker were serving the dinner program, where they have gone? No single cook has returned to their home, neither they had made telephone call to their family members.

11. Several famous doctors, including Dr. Upendra Devkota, were taken to Chhauni Barek, but they are not making any communication to family members. Are the doctors also in danger of another round of massacre?

12. Several Royal army official has not come to home since Friday and has not informed to their families. If the families make inquiries, then the reply is that, they are send to foreign countries for
treatment. Now the family members are worrying about the massacre of these army officials too, including ADCs of dead Royal members.

13. One helicopter has flied from Palace on Friday night around 10:30 PM straight very high and then went to unknown direction with all light off. The people had seen and heard the sound of that, where that helicopter has gone, and who was inside that?

14. Several public people has heard about the incident around 10:00 - 10:30 PM of Friday night, but the prime-minister Girija was informed about this only at 1:30 AM (some 4 - 5 hours later than the accident), why?

15. No postmortem was conducted on the dead royal bodies, why? The government had taken VICERA for investigation, while Madan Bhandari was dead. Why they did not do this for king and his family?

16. Why funeral process is conducted immediately, they poured water from tanker to flow cleaner water in Bagmati, and the structures were made temporarily.

17. Even the dead bodies were not handled with respect. There was no body to remove flies on the face of king. The dead body were kept on open ground without any arrangement. Whereas, the dead body of Babuchiri Sherpa was well protected and kept open for public respect for 5 days.

18. Why none of the foreign state heads and their representatives were allowed to take part? Even the notice for the higher governmental officers were issued very stupidly. The notice to attend at 3:00 PM the funeral spot with specified dresses was issued only at 3:10. Is is possible to reach at the spot at 3:00 hearing the notice at 3:10? Has every higher officers prepared the funeral dresses before the notice? otherwise how they could reach to the funeral spot immediately with specified dress?

19. Why the number of bullets were not allowed to count from the dead bodies of royal members?

20. Royal members are engaged with more than one women since long ahead, and that is not assumed as a critical issue. They can keep many wives in the form of Lyaite, byaite etc. So one external women can not be cause to death of dozens of very very important members of family and nation.

21. None of nepali has heard the fantastic story of love affairs of Deependra, but now the famous news agencies are trying to blame Divyani Rana as the cause of Royal members' massacre. Who has thought about her personal life afterward?

22. Why Dr. Rajeeb Shahi and Helen Shah are silent on these issue? It is heard that army official denied to conduct investigation, when senior police officer has proposed for that on Saturday, why?

23. Why all the international news agencies are displaying the photograph of mustachioed Deependra (with his darhi), to make an impression of bad person?

24. On the funeral of Birendra and Aisworya, Paras was not quite. His hand, foot, mouth was moving in some special ways, and many people has tried to describe ideas in his brain at that moment. Can someone behave in such a way, while his almost all family members were murdered? Can a person, who has seen the live death of several family members, with flow of blood from the all parts of body in a single room and their pain, grief movement etc, stand in such a smily and fresh manner to the public?

25. Deependra had not taken alcohol on Friday evening. He never takes alcohol when he joins the dinner program with his father. He is well-known for his super respect to his father. How such person can kill his parents?

26. Deependra is black belt in Marshal arts. Nirajan is also good sports man (gold medalist in national swimming contest). They are expected to have very strong physics than Paras, but the paras, who is weakest in physics, could save him with so-called heroic tricks. That is possible only in Indian movies, not in real life.

… due to lack of electricity in the village !

Are we going in the same direction. 16 hours of load-shedding in Nepal is taking its toll in every sectors in daily lives. There was protest from electric vehicles (Safa Tempoos), that needs an average of 18 hours to get fully charged. Other sectors like hospitals, TV channels are widely covered in news medias. Some are even demanding for load-shedding free zones. But given the situation not even a tint of silver lining can be seen.

Well, let me continue the story I started with:

The youths in a small village some 20 kms from the capital of Indian province, Uttar Pradesh, can’t find brides willing to marry them all because they don’t have electricity in the village.

“An exercise to electrify the village was initiated in 1973 and electric poles were erected with power lines. But power supply was snapped after some years due to reasons unknown to us. There are only seven poles left now in the village,” said one of the villagers. (Times of India)

Be prepared to witness the worst!

Being Honest hurts ?

Wednesday, March 18, 2009

A childish question again! But think seriously and sincerely. It is really hard to be honest and sometimes it hurts a lot. Everybody wishes to be nice. But sometimes situation may come that we can’t be honest and nice at the same time. We want to be nice always in any charge. That’s a reason why we can’t be honest every time. I don’t believe that all truths are malicious but I know some are cruel. I guess that’s why we pretend to be good without revealing the truth.

Sometime we try not to be truthful thinking good for other. We pretend to be guilty to please or entertain others and I think this is wrong. I have always tried to be completely honest. Many times I have felt that my integrity screwed up everything. Seriously, honesty is a good quality that should be in every human being. But some truth hurts so much as mirror never lies. Honesty may harm things you love and want. It hurts more deeply in relationships. In this case only truth may be the cleanest and surest path to the solutions.

It may be difficult to maintain honesty in our life but our honesty protects us always. Honesty is giving your word and keeping it and one day it will be rewarded. Always give your best and the best will come back to you.

The first Nepali made airplane, Danfe, went successful test flight at the Pokhara Airport. Students at the Pulchowk Engineering Campus, Bikash Parajuli and Ganeshram Sikkemana made the airplane, which flew on the International Aviation Day.

Piloted by Russian pilot, Alexander Maximov, Danfe flew fourth time. In each take off the plane hovered for one minute and traveled the distance of 1 and half kilometer. The plane is capable of flying for two hours maintaining the height of 6,000 feet at the speed of 100 kilometer per hour.

Danfe was created at the expenditure of Rs. 1 million. The plane has 10-meter long wings and consists of two comfortable seats. The engine is attached at the rear part while fuel tank in below the seat. It is equipped with three wheels.

According to creators, Danfe’s engine is of Austrian technology while Nepali technology and local devices have also been used.

Overview of NEW NEPAL

Sunday, March 15, 2009

Until Nepal became a republic in May 2008, it had been ruled by monarchs or a ruling family for most of its modern history in relative isolation.

AT-A-GLANCE
Security forces in Kathmandu
Politics: Historic elections in April 2008 led to abolition of centuries-old monarchy
Economy: Civil strife wrecked the economy and Nepal is dependent on aid; tourism is a key foreign exchange earner

A brief experiment with multi-party politics in 1959 ended with King Mahendra suspending parliament and taking sole charge in 1962.

Democratic politics was introduced in 1991 after popular protests, but was marked by frequent changes of government. The last king of Nepal, Gyanendra, twice assumed executive powers - in 2002 and 2005.

Maoist rebels waged a decade-long campaign against the monarchy, leaving more than 12,000 people dead and 100,000 people displaced according to UN figures.

When King Gyanendra's direct rule ended under public pressure in April 2006, the rebels entered talks with the parliamentary government on how to end the civil war.

A peace deal was agreed in November, although the Maoists continued to press for abolition of the monarchy.

Parliament agreed to the condition in December 2007, and the Maoists emerged as the largest parliamentary party after elections in April 2008.

The monarchy was abolished a month later, and a Maoist-dominated government took office in August.

Nepal has been at odds with neighbouring Bhutan over the repatriation of thousands of Bhutanese refugees of Nepalese descent who fled violence in Bhutan in the early 1990s.

Nepal has the flourishing tourism industry, but faces problems of deforestation and encroachment on animal habitats.

Most of the population depend on agriculture, and the UN estimates that about 40% of Nepalis live in poverty.

Foreign aid is vital to the economy, and Nepal is also heavily dependent on trade with neighbouring India.
